Dear VPM Community,

In this April installment of the VPM customer newsletter, check out our new Check Deposit Service that allows you to deposit checks received in your Virtual Post Mailbox. Also, a new Smart Address Tag has been introduced to help process incoming bundled mail. Finally, take a sneak peek at what’s to come in May.

News and Announcements

To keep you up-to-date, here are the latest news and announcements from VPM.

New Check Deposit Service

Over the past 6 months, we’ve been depositing checks for some of our users. This month, we’re making our Check Deposit Service available to all our users. You can now deposit your checks received in your online mailbox to any bank that supports mail-in deposit. This service saves you the cost and time of forwarding the mail piece and depositing the check yourself. Read more about how Check Deposit Service works and learn how to submit a check deposit request.

New Smart Address Tag

We’ve had some people forwarding us a bundle of mail from elsewhere and wanting us to scan the mail envelopes contained inside mailing envelope. To solve this challenge, we are introducing a new Smart Address Tag you can use to instruct us to open and scan the envelopes inside. Simply add the letter “Z” to the end of your mailbox number and we’ll take care of the rest. Learn more about how the Z tag and Smart Address work.

Upcoming Features and Improvements

Take a sneak peek at what we’re working on to make your Virtual Post Mailbox even better.

Get PDF Files Sent to Your Email

Currently, you will get an email notification from us when you receive new mail. You would then have to log in to your mailbox to view and manage your mail. We are currently hard at work to add the ability to attach mail PDF files to the email notifications so you don’t even need to log in to your mailbox. This is slated for release in May.

User Interface Improvements

Over the next few months, we’ll be making several improvements to our current user interfaces. The focus is to make managing your mail easier. Expect to see great features such as folders, search function, and batch mail management. We’re excited about this and hope that you will be as well!
